I’m Sophie, a fully qualified integrative counsellor and member of the BACP.

I believe the journey to understanding, healing, and growth is within each of us. Whether you want to offload, process traumatic experiences, or develop new coping skills, I aim to support you in building self-acceptance, autonomy, and resilience. I am continually developing my skills to ensure clients receive the best possible support, with your wellbeing at the heart of my work.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on approaches tailored to your needs, including:

  • Person-centred therapy – a safe, understanding, and non-judgmental space for you to be yourself.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – exploring thoughts and patterns to cope more effectively.

  • Transactional Analysis (TA) – looking at how we relate to ourselves and others.

  • Attachment theory- Exploring how early relationships can influence how we relate to ourselves and others.

My own experiences with therapy and life challenges have shaped the way I work, giving me a genuine understanding of the courage it takes to explore your inner world.

As a counsellor, my goal isn’t to direct your path—it’s to walk alongside you, helping you uncover your insights, strengths, and solutions to create meaningful change in your life.
